How our bookings work
Aylesbury Airport Transfers is a booking intermediary. When you submit an enquiry through our website, we pass your details to a licensed private hire operator who confirms your booking directly with you.
All cancellations must be made directly with the operator using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation. Aylesbury Airport Transfers cannot process cancellations or refunds on behalf of the operator.
Passenger cancellations
More than 24 hours before pickup — no cancellation charge applies. Any deposit paid may be refunded at the operator's discretion.
12 to 24 hours before pickup — a cancellation charge of 50% of the journey price may apply.
Less than 12 hours before pickup — the full journey price may be charged.
No show — if the driver arrives at the agreed pickup address at the agreed time and the passenger is not present and has not made contact, the full journey price will be charged.
Changes to bookings
Changes to pickup time or date can be made free of charge subject to driver availability, provided at least 24 hours notice is given. Contact the operator directly to request changes.
Changes to destination or vehicle type may result in a price adjustment. Confirm any price difference with the operator before the change is confirmed.
Flight changes and cancellations
Flight delays — if your flight is delayed, your driver monitors the flight in real time and adjusts the pickup time accordingly. No cancellation or amendment charge applies for airline-caused delays.
Flight cancellations — if your flight is cancelled by the airline, contact the operator as soon as possible. Cancellation charges will not apply if you provide notice within 2 hours of being notified by the airline. If you rebook for a new travel date with the same operator, any deposit paid will be transferred to the new booking.
Missed flights — Aylesbury Airport Transfers and the operator accept no responsibility for missed flights. We strongly recommend following our departure timing guide.
Operator cancellations
In the rare event that the operator cannot fulfil a confirmed booking, you will be notified as soon as possible. A full refund of any payment made will be issued within 5 to 10 working days.
Refunds
Where a refund is due, it will be processed by the operator using the same payment method used for the original payment. Refund timescales are typically 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank or card provider.
How to cancel
- Contact the operator directly using the contact details in your booking confirmation
- State your name, booking reference if provided, and travel date
- Note the time and date of your cancellation request for your records
