A retired couple in Stone, a village just west of Aylesbury, booked an 08:45 pickup to Heathrow Terminal 2 for a flight to the USA to visit family. Their house has a name rather than a number, which can cost a driver minutes in a village. The gentleman added a line to the booking notes describing where the house sits in relation to a local landmark, and the car pulled up at the right door first time.
The driver is confirmed the day before and the car arrives 10 minutes before the agreed pickup time.
Luggage
Two large and two medium suitcases went into the estate car boot and fitted without anything on the seats. The route pages quote three large and two small suitcases as the limit with four passengers, so this load was well within it. If you are travelling with more than that, say so when booking and it is confirmed before the day.
The drive to Terminal 2
An 08:45 pickup from Stone reaches the M25 after the worst of the Friday morning peak. The run went A41 to the M25, then the M4 spur into Heathrow and the Terminal 2 departures forecourt (postcode TW6 1EW), with no hold-ups, and the couple were inside the terminal on time for their flight. The gentleman turned out to be well read on AI, which made for a good conversation on the way.
What was included

- Transfers are in an estate car with room for up to 4 passengers with 3 large and 2 small suitcases. Child seats are available free on request.
- Flights leaving the airport are not tracked. If your departure time changes, tell us and the pickup time is moved.
Why it matters if your address is hard to find
If your house has a name, no number, or sits off the road, put one sentence in the booking notes: the nearest landmark, a gate colour, or "third drive after the pub". It costs nothing and it is the difference between the car arriving 10 minutes early and the driver phoning from the wrong lane.
